Specifications.
Complete BIG BAG loading station with hopper extraction system, BIG BAG support beam and commercial weighing system. The BIG BAGs to be filled have different capacities: 500 kg, 1,000 kg and 1,500 kg. The products to be handled are highly diversified: sand, gravel, pebbles (0/2 - 0/20 - 8/16 and 40/80), the desired flow rate is 150 m3/h to fill a 1500 kg BIG BAG in 30 seconds. Formulas (weight-materials) can be created on request.
Issues.
Hopper loading height limited to 3 m. Wet products (sand) tend to clog in the hopper cone. The Belt must be able to handle all products. The weighing scale must be resistant to product falling into the BIG BAG (to the dynamic forces associated with product falling into the BB). The complete system must be easy to use and program, enabling users to optimize BB filling times. Long-term rental of 60 months.
Our solution:
Design, manufacture and supply of :
- 1 hopper with a volume of 4m3 and a loading height of 3 m, equipped with 2 vibrating motors and removable HDPE shields to help the material slide into the lower cone.
- 1 MANUEXTRACT 500 belt extractor, clamped under the hopper, 6m long, equipped with a rubber belt with sidewalls.
- 1 BB suspension frame for quick positioning and removal (with fork pockets) of BIG BAGs of different capacities: 60 x 60 cm and 90 x 90 cm
- 1 complete commercial weighing system, comprising a 2-tonne capacity weighing table and a programmable terminal (weighing on record or on demand)
- 1 electrical cabinet equipped with a frequency converter coupled with the weighing system to optimize BB filling speeds
- Factory settings and dynamic load tests (Riedisheim)
- Final acceptance at the customer's premises, with training in operating parameters
