Conveyor belt for soil and rubble

The rubble conveyor is the most common piece of lifting equipment used on construction, renovation and maintenance sites. It's easy to use, and its drawbacks are easily overcome.

Construction professionals on building sites, public works for road construction, railroads for rail installation, river and maritime civil engineering for the development of banks, quays or ports, quarries and gravel pits all use Belt Conveyors for extraction.

Conveyor belts dedicated to construction sites

Excavation, pipe-laying, energy transmission or earthworks: when it comes to large-scale projects requiring the transport of large quantities of earth or rubble, conveyor belts are the obvious solution.

Modular and practical, they enable the rapid transport of bulk materials over long distances, and are also used in gold mining and open-cast mining.

Even better! Depending on the situation, angles of ascent can be set up for truck loading or discharge into loading hoppers.

These are just some of the ways to simplify the evacuation of rubble or the processing of raw materials.

Sand, earth and rubble conveyors: indispensable and modular

Of course, every job site is different: the volumes to be moved, technical constraints, gradients, obstacles and difficult-to-reach locations all need to be taken into account.

It is therefore possible to opt for a light conveyor or, if large quantities of rubble need to be transported over long distances, to design and install rubber Belt Conveyors over distances of several hundred meters.

Modular conveyor belts can also be used to transfer materials between different construction machines.

Evacuation of earth and rubble by Belt Conveyors

To evacuate earth, rubble, stones or pebbles, Manubloc belt conveyors can be fitted with orientation and/or displacement wheels. These are suitable for all types of worksite requiring horizontal or inclined bulk transfer and removal.

The 18-metreManukit industrial conveyor can be used to clear demolition and excavation sites. The modular system can be dismantled and moved to another site. To evacuate earth from a deconstruction site, several Manubloc smooth Belt Conveyors will be used, fed by a Manuextract (belt extractor under a hopper).

A calculation tool to determine the power required to drive each conveyor is available online.

Rubble evacuation conveyors: what additional equipment is required?

Feeding hoppers, hollow rubber belts and adapted flanges, steel or aluminum structures... all these options are important when choosing a rubble conveyor.

The type of motor and Idlers are also important, as they need to be sized according to the expected load and speed.

In all cases, a preliminary study and personalized support will enable you to choose the right equipment, whether for purchase or long-term rental.

The Manukit Belt Conveyor is used on an earthworks site to pile up soil, with a throughput of 350 t/h.

When there is a directional change from one conveyor to another, a drop screen is required to control the load at the breaking point.
