If your plant requires the sorting and extraction of ferromagnetic objects and particles, we suggest using a fixed magnetic system located inside a frame around which an evacuation belt rotates.
This assembly, known as an overband or permanent magnet, is placed above a conveyor belt and enables the ferrous particles to be removed from the conveying line. Under the effect of magnetic attraction, the ferrous bodies are attracted and separated from the bulk. When the attraction ceases, they fall back into the chosen container (hopper, skip, etc.) or onto another conveyor belt, while the non-ferrous materials continue their journey on the first belt.
Overband magnetic separation
