The Belt Conveyor system transports crushed glass, broken glass or whole bottles. They offer handling solutions for glass and crystal factories, or for any industry that needs to transfer glass horizontally or at an angle.
As a general rule, glass transport requires an EP 400/3 type Belt with AA 4+2 coating, but certain activities with high environmental constraints (heat, dust and abrasion) call for special precautions.
Glass transport with belt conveyor systems
We recommend the use of self-extinguishing, impact- and cut-resistant Belts, high-performance scrapers and heavy-duty troughs.
Glass can be transferred using 13-meter Manukit industrial belt conveyors with 50 mm belts. For the transfer of crushed glass, it is preferable to use a Manubloc belt conveyor.
