Concrete transport with Belt Conveyor systems
We can offer a complete range of bulk handling systems for sale or hire.
Two types of Stringer are available to suit a wide variety of applications and choices: heavy-duty, industrial Stringer conveyors of the Manukit type, or light, compact Stringer conveyors of the Manubloc type. We also offer a range of kit hoppers for Belt feeders.
Our Belt Conveyors can be fitted with slewing and/or moving wheels for a "grasshopper" configuration.
For your convenience, we provide an online power calculation tool that will give you a more precise idea of your power requirements.
Instructions for Belt conveyors in the concrete industry
The conveyor must not be too long to avoid altering the mix at loading and unloading points. Precautions must be taken to avoid segregation:
- Belt outlet: re-establish homogeneity of mix (mixers or simple funnels)
- The Belt must be fitted with special scrapers or cleaners preceded by a pressurized sprinkler.
- Inclined Belt: take into account water loss during transport
Some examples of concrete handling and transport systems
Tecnitude conveyor belts can be adapted in size, width and length to suit the specific requirements of the plant and concrete transport. The modularity and standardization of our modules make them easy to integrate and adapt.
Conveyors and batching plants can be upgraded and modified to accommodate other handling systems. The sturdiness, modularity and light weight of our handling and storage systems make them easy to assemble and move to any type of construction site or production facility.
