Designed both to store and to facilitate gravity loading of heavy materials, Tecnitude hoppers are inverted pyramid-shaped tanks with a square base. Whether you're talking about a grain silo, a used grain hopper, an agricultural hopper or a crusher feed hopper, choose the container that's right for you. Tecnitude offers long-term leasing of used hoppers, which can be sold at the end of the contract.

Storage and feed hoppers

Our agricultural hoppers can be steel Pyramid-Shaped Hoppers, with a remote manual helmet emptying system, and delivered as bolt-on, road-gauge components, with assembly assistance instructions supplied on delivery.

Alternatively, Tecnitude hoppers can be supplied in one-piece, mechanically-welded construction in stiffened sheet metal, delivered assembled (except for feet and extensions) to road gauges. What's more, our agricultural hoppers and conveyors are also used to feed conveyor belts. To manage the flow under the hopper or at the hopper outlet, we offer Belt extractors dedicated, among other things, to agricultural operations.

Agricultural hopper for receiving vegetables

Our feed hoppers are designed to buffer and feed agricultural products such as potatoes, onions and carrots. The feed hopper is filled by means of a forklift truck and is mostly made of steel.

The Belt Conveyor can be optionally equipped with a frequency regulator and sensors. A bridge is placed above the discharge conveyor to relieve pressure on the belt.

Our hoppers are road-gauged for easier, faster overland transport.

Farm machinery: advice on hopper use

If you're handling sticky or pasty materials such as sand, cement, etc., which are likely to clog the outlet system or clog the hopper walls, we recommend using a vibrating motor or pneumatic impactor to avoid this kind of problem.

Placed on the hopper, the impactor acts on the walls by successive shocks, without deforming the support. The pulses and vibrations thus created facilitate product flow and prevent clogging. The hopper can be shielded to facilitate material sliding. Shielding prevents sticky materials from sticking.
