Electrification and automation of Belt Conveyors

Belt Conveyors: electrical power supply

With our multi-skilled design office, we offer the electrification and automation of handling and storage systems.

Using a simple box or a multi-compartment electrical cabinet, we manage the process of switching on and off, the thermal protection of motors, the process and cycles of cascade operation, and the electrical safety of conveyors.

Conveyor belts: our electrical cabinets and enclosures

Tecnitude has a team of electricians/automation specialists in charge of designing and sizing electrical cabinets for installations
Depending on the complexity of the site, the installation can be completed with frequency variation, two-way operation, and programmable logic controllers to manage several inputs and outputs.

Electrical connection of conveyor belts

The user of the Belt Conveyor must have the electrical connection and commissioning carried out by qualified personnel. Before starting any maintenance work, it is therefore absolutely essential to switch off the circuit and wait until the capacitors in the frequency converter have discharged (minimum waiting time 15 minutes).
Even when the device is not in operation, it may be damaged by electrostatic discharge.
